My Approach
The most effective healthcare is personalised to you, and I know many people will be coming to work with me after a long health journey of frustration and confusion. I’m here to quieten the noise, really listen to your unique medical and lifestyle story, and develop a tailored nutrition plan to meet your health goals.
Your plan will focus on addressing root causes that may be creating an imbalance in your body, as well as the symptoms you’re experiencing. Our goal is to make long-lasting, sustainable changes, and my weekly support sessions will help you implement your plan at a pace that best suits you.
Questionnaire
Once you sign up to a package, the first step is to complete an intake questionnaire about your health and lifestyle. The essential information you provide will allow me to better understand what might be happening in your body and develop an initial version of your personal plan. Questions will cover:
Your body and any symptoms you may have
Your medical history
Your family history
Your lifestyle
Your food choices and habits
You’ll also be asked to complete a 7-day food diary (which can be completed via my client app).
Initial Consultation
We’ll use this session to work through your personalised nutrition plan. It will also allow us to dive deeper into more specific areas of your health, lifestyle, and preferences to ensure your plan feels achievable to you.
Weekly Support Calls
Changing habits takes time and we can all benefit from a bit of hand holding when it comes to making different food and lifestyle choices. My weekly support sessions are there to allow you to make changes at a pace that suits you, ask as many questions as you want or need, and allow us to work together to review your plan whilst keeping a close eye on your symptoms. We’ll also review any supplements and test results if required.
More complex cases may require a nutrition plan that has multiple phases. This is so we can address different systems of the body as needed. Our weekly support calls will move you through the different stages of the plan.
Testing
Your health is my priority, and I will always aim to work alongside your GP as needed to ensure the best outcome for you.
There may be additional functional tests that I recommend for you which are more detailed than those provided by GPs. If I feel they are necessary and will provide significantly useful information for your case, then we’ll discuss them in our initial consultation.
